Metal/metal composites manufacturing under pressure

Abstract
The aim of this communication is to show, at local level, several rules of manufacturing metal / metal matrix composites by liquid route and determine processing parameters (pressure, temperature and time) in relation with the improvement of the part's mechanical properties. From laboratory experiments of insertion of low carbon steel samples in industrial aluminium alloys, several conclusions for any type of steel reinforced - aluminium matrix composite have been expected.
